Several years ago I was making much less money and had a lot more free time and I used to do surveys all the time. It is definitely not a way to earn money to like, get by or anything, but it's a good way to earn a little extra. I've been inactive for too long on a couple of the sites so they deleted my account and I can no longer see my stats, but for one I logged in recently because a friend was asking about it and I found that I had earned like $500 in five years of using the site.

The sites I used to use were mysurvey, opinion outpost, and global test market. Opinion Outpost is the one I still have an account with, but I probably made at least that much with those other two sites as well. Opinion Outpost is also great because you can cash out after only $3, plus if you get like amazon credit, they send you the email with the code immediately rather than taking a few days to process. So if you want to buy something on amazon, you can get your credit right then.
